FOR Y'UR HEIGHT ONLY (1981) - Eddie Nicart

Weng Weng (Ernesto de la Cruz) as "Agent 00"

For Y'ur Height Only may be the perfect bar TV movie, by which I mean it's best played in a drinking establishment in the background with the sound off entirely. The movie's soundtrack is terrible, the original Filipino actors overdubbed for bad comic effect, and the same James Bond-ish synthesizer theme repeats at least every half minute. Given its tiny star, its shot-on-16mm square images, the movie doesn't require a widescreen LED. In fact, it would probably play much better on an old 1980s Zenith. The 2 feet 9 inch tall Weng Weng dominates almost every frame of this little person James Bond spoof, and he is the entire reason for its existence. Whatever you see him do, you will surely be impressed.

He might be firing a little gun...

He might be firing a big gun...

He might be macking poolside...

Or in the hallway...

Or in the bedroom, showing you his man nips...

He might be wearing a jet pack...

Or kicking ass...

Or doing his patented shoot-and-slide maneuver...

Or, if you're nearing the end, he might be squaring off with "Mr. Giant"...

Whatever Weng Weng is doing on that barroom TV at the time, I assure you, you will not be able to look away. You may even spit out y'ur drink.
