GLORIA (1980) - John Cassavetes

If you can stomach the pandering Bill Conti score only a note or two away from the original Rocky theme, the highly precocious child actor, and the sight of several great underused character actors thrown only a bad line or two (Buck Henry, Tom Noonan, Val Avery), then you might enjoy a half hour or so of this flick, especially the late '70s grimy NYC location photography.

Otherwise, proceed directly to the loose remake of same. No, not the one with Sharon Stone. This one.
