"OVERLOOKED '80s" Week

Done the '60s. Done the '70s. Guess what comes next?

I don't have many excuses for missing most of the ones on this week's viewing list, considering I had a VCR and was already a self-confessed movie geek for the latter half of this decade.

What's in store for the "Greed" decade? A British gangster flick. A "dangerously" half-Chinese dwarf. Some gumbas in Greenwich Village. A laundromat in Thatcher's Britain. The first and only major directorial outing by my favorite living novelist.

Greed is Good. DVD is Bad. Time for more VHS...
